FCT Minister Urges Nigerian Workers To Support PMB’s Administration

The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has appealed to Nigerian workers to continue to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him take the country to greater heights.

Receiving the executive committee of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) led by its president, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama in his office, Malam Bello reiterated that the nation is passing through some sort of temporary economic challenges; noting that other nations have also passed through similar challenges.

The minister emphasized that President Muhammadu Buhari is God-sent, stressing that all his actions are geared towards making the country great for this generation and for generations yet unborn.

He said that the support of the Nigerian workers and indeed that of other Nigerians would go a long way in stabilising the system and make the job of the government much easier to bring back the past glory of Nigeria.

Malam Bello assured that the federal government is working towards bridging the housing deficit; noting that in the Federal Capital Territory, attention would be given to housing for low income earners to ensure that workers are well catered for.

While saying that the Trade Union Congress is one of the very important stakeholders of Abuja, the Minister remarked that the FCT Administration would identify a suitable plot of land for the building of TUC Headquarters.

Speaking earlier, the president of the Trade Union Congress, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama said that the congress would like to relocate its headquarters from Lagos to Abuja and therefore sought for a plot of land.
