Residents of Enyinare, a community in Okene Local Government were thrown into confusion after three youths were gunned down by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Abdulrahaman Momoh, Hassan Jimoh and the third was popularly called Moji.
What residents have described as mysterious is the novelty of the incident in the community.
According to sources, the gunmen who were on military camouflage invaded the house where the three men were sleeping, abducted them and left their bodies on the street.
While condemning the murder, the member representing Okene 1 constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Lawi Ahmed called for an increase in surveillance by security operatives, urging the State Commissioner of Police to ensure that the murderers are apprehended and brought to book.
The lawmaker also advised the State Government to demolish the shacks which has become a hiding place for men of the underworld across the state.
