The governor of Benue state Samuel Ortom has revealed how a prophesy was made over his position as the governor of the state.
The governor, speaking at an interactive session held with Pastor Adeboye at the banquet hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi, on Saturday, November 9, said he received this prophesy long before he was elected as governor.
Ortom said the revelation took place when he went for a retreat with his wife, Eunice in 2012.
He said the prophesy was made by the general overseer and founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Ortom said: “It was in 2012 that I went for a retreat with my wife at the Redeemed Camp when the man of God told me to prepare to mount the state’s most exalted seat; here we are today as the Governor of Benue State.”
The governor said following this particular fulfillment of the promise of God in his life, he would continue to be close to Adeboye.
He also said, Pastor Adeboye’s one-day visit to the state gave him the opportunity to appreciate God for bringing the two of them together again.
Meanwhile, the Benue state government last week, declared all Fridays as public holidays.
The state government said the declaration was in line with the governor’s plan to allow civil servants harvest their farm produce this season.
This new plan, the state government said will continue from November to the end of January 2017.
