Some football stars have been seen pants down including the Barcelona duo of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
But while some of these stars chose to strip down to their underwears to give fans a piece of their kits, others decided to take off their shorts to celebrate a goal.
Check out five players who decided to strip off right on the pitch
1. Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi was spotted with his pants completely off when Barcelona faced Sevilla earlier this season.
The scene occurred after the Barcelona forward helped the Catalan to a 2-0 victory in the first leg of their Super Cup tie against the Andalusians.
After the referee had blown the whistle for full-time and the players began to head back to the dressing rooms, a camera man approached Messi and asked him for his shirt.
Instead the Argentine international handed over his short before heading up the tunnel in just his underwear. The moment was captured by the camera man.
Messi leaving the pitch without his short
Neymar strips down to his pants for a group of adoring fans back in 2014. It came in a charity game just before Christmas.
Shortly after the game, fans decided to beg for a souvenir from Neymar, but they got more as the Brazilian stripped to his pant and handed over his shorts.
3. Arturo Vidal
Last season, Arturo Vidal proved he is a nice guy as he stripped off after Bayern Munich’s 2-0 win over Hertha Berlin and handed out his match-worn kit to two supporters.
He left the pitch in just his pants.
4. Mario Djurovski
In what can be termed as one of the most bizarre goal celebration, Macedonian midfielder Mario Djurovski back in 2013 chose to remove his pants after scoring a goal.
After getting what ended up to be the match winner for his team, Muangthong United in Thailand, Djurovski took off his shorts, places them on top of his head, and points to the stands.
However, the referee obviously didn’t like his celebration as he skipped over the yellow card and handed a red card to the player.
5. Mirko Vucinic
Something similar like that of Djurovski happened that same year. This time, it came in Juventus’ 2-1 win over Pescara in a Serie A match in Turin.
Shortly after getting the winning goal in the 72nd-minute from the penalty spot, Mirko Vucinic, dropped his shorts and romping pantless around the pitch.
